How to do it

  1. Come up with a name

Choose a name that says what you do. It must not look too much like someone else's name.

  2. Search the CVR register

Search the name in the public register and see whether someone already uses it.

  3. Write down the owners

Note the name and address of each owner. You will need them in task 2.

Check the name in the CVR register

Search the name in the public register before you decide.

We show whether companies with the same or a similar name exist. The Danish Business Authority makes the final decision when you register.
